Certified Community Transit Manager marks the greatest performance and highest efficiency in the community transportation industry; it is proof of the ability to manage a comprehensive and dynamic community transportation system.
NEPTA, in cooperation with the Massachusetts Rural Transit Assistance Program (MArtap) is offering a two-day CCTM preparatory class that will review all of the management skills (Human Resources, Operations, Transit Development, Procurement and Contracting, Financial Management) covered in the CCTM examination.
CCTA offers a two-day training class which MArtap, co-sponsored by NEPTA, is offering for a total registration fee of $70 which includes the two-day training, exam and continental breakfast and lunch all three days.
Michael Noel from Lazaro & Noel, LLC will be the instructor. The two-day training will be Tuesday, September 21 and Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Union Hall in Worcester, MA. The exam is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, September 23, 2010.
