The NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA) along with the Federal Transit Administration, Region 1 will join forces once again for the biennial Northeast Passenger Transportation Conference and Expo. Mark your calendars for March 18 & 19, 2009.

The combination of conferences and the transportation EXPO will bring you the most up to date information in transit. Sessions sponsored by Federal Transit Administration, Region 1 will be held March 18 and 19, 2009 at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, conveniently attached to the convention center.

The transportation EXPO, sponsored by NEPTA, will be March 18, 2009 at The Connecticut Convention Center 100 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, Connecticut. NEPTA will offer maintenance training workshops again this year, directly in the exhibit hall. These sessions will include wheelchair lift, air conditioning, and big bus engine and transmission training along with other topics.

Attendees will represent public and private transportation providers, state and federal funding agencies, the business community and vendors to the transportation industry. The sponsors expect over 200 transit attendees to participate.

Registration will open in May 2008 for booth space and conference registration. Program details will be forthcoming.
