The NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA) invites you to join your colleagues on Tuesday, April 4 at the Rhode Island Convention Center for their Biennial Conference and Transportation Expo. This year’s training workshops and sessions will provide a forum for transit professionals to hear the latest updates on innovation and TrAMS from the Federal Transit Administration; become certified to conduct reasonable suspicion determinations and understand the in-depth post-accident testing requirements of the federal Part 655.44; along with a Civil Rights session on developing and submitting a successful DBE. – There is much more planned. We invite you to attend APTA’s sponsored Innovative and Integrated Mobility Management Solutions training and Rides to Wellness. We will cover topics on Social Media and Bus Safety Technology for Buses along with so much more during this one-day event.
The transportation expo will also provide an opportunity to view transit vehicles and technology. We welcome all to join the list of exhibitors for prime exposure in the northeast region, this event is a great way to showcase your transit products and services.
Information sharing and networking opportunities will be available throughout the event and especially during the two evening receptions we have planned – Tuesday evening’s reception will be held in the exhibit hall to extend the exhibitor viewing hours.
This NEPTA event offers a unique opportunity for a full array of transit professionals to come together and share best practices and learn from each other’s innovations – we encourage your attendance and know you will find this conference and expo enjoyable and educational.
We look forward to welcoming operators from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut; rural operators from Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire; private intercity carriers; non-profits; state DOT’s; planning agencies, regional transit authorities, transportation vendors and more.
