December 2, 2010 NEPTA announces the Richard H. Doyle Award. 

NEPTA has announced a new award in honor of Richard H. Doyle, retired FTA Region 1 Administrator.  NEPTA presented this special award to Dick during the NEPTA Annual Dinner Meeting. This award was established this year to recognize Dick for his outstanding dedication, customer service and professionalism to all in the transit industry.  We wish Dick all of the best as he begins his new venture.


In the future, this award will be presented to an individual who has played a vital role in the public and/or private passenger transportation industry and has also contributed to the continued success of the NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA).  Candidates must be nominating by a member of the NEPTA Board of Directors and will be presented the award during the annual dinner meeting in December. Candidates must present outstanding dedication, customer service and professionalism and must meet the following criteria:
·Made significant contributions to the transportation industry,
·Served in the transportation industry in the Northeast region,
·Has made a significant role in the NEPTA organization.
